Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard (1818–1893)
General, Confederate Army
A native of New Orleans, Beauregard graduated from West Point in 1838. A celebrated strategist in the southern cause, after the war he was president of the New Orleans, Jackson, and Mississippi Railroad.
