Paul Horgan (1903–1995)

Writer, Historian

Born in Buffalo, NY, Horgan moved to the Southwest (Albuquerque, NM) in 1915, a region that would provide the setting for most of his writing. He wrote both fiction and non-fiction, twice winning the Pulitzer Prize in history, and served as president of the American Catholic Historical Association. His last years were spent in Connecticut.
