Saint Philippine Rose Duchesne (1769–1852)
Born in France, St. Philippine helped to establish the sisters of the Society of the Sacred Heart in the United States. She founded the Academy of the Sacred Heart in St. Charles, Missouri, which is where her shrine resides. She was canonized in 1988.
