Father Stanley Jaki, OSB (1924–2009)

A native of Hungary, Jaki entered the Benedictine order in 1942. He studied at the Pontifical Institute in Rome and then at Fordham University. A well-known philosopher of science, he was a professor of physics at Seton Hall University from 1965 until his death. He won the Templeton Prize in 1987.
