Thomas More College

Crestview Hills, Kentucky

Founded 1921 (Villa Madonna College)

Benedictive Sisters established Villa Maddona as a girls college. In 1929, it was attached to the Diocese of Covington, though religious orders (Benedictines, Sisters of Notre Dame, Congregation of Divine Providence) continued to serve the school. St. Thomas More College was an affiliated school for men, abolished in 1945 when Villa Madonna became co-educational. In 1968, the institution moved from Covington to nearby Crestview Hills and was renamed Thomas More College.
